I`ve been a bad blogger.

At last I have found time to sit down, download photos and write something in my Blog. I`ve had a really enjoyable Xmas and New Year, even though I was nightshift on Xmas Eve. The other guy I was working with and I ordered in a Chinese to cheer us up.
On Xmas day I got home and Claire and Mia were just getting up so we all opened our presents before I went to bed for a few hours. I got an Ipod, (I suspected I might get one), from Claire and I`ve been working out how to put movies onto it. There is a legal issue and Apple have made it difficult to transfer movies onto the Ipod, I needed to convert the movies first. I got there in the end and now have 3 Movies to watch on my way to Sweden with work next week.
I`ve added various photos showing what we were up to over Xmas. The lads in Fancy dress are from my old Sunday football team, they were on their pre Xmas night out. We had a great laugh and after a few beers you forgot you were talking to Batman and a Giant baby.
I had a night out in Edinburgh between Xmas and New Year with Neil and we hit George Street. It`s full of trendy bars and is the place to go now in Edinburgh for a great night out. We were in a pub called Tiger Lilly and were dreading the long walk to a club at the other end of George Street in the wind and rain. Just as we were about to leave we were told there was a new club called Lulus that had just opened underneath Tiger Lilly. We went there and saved our weary legs and had a ball.
On the way back to Newcastle from Scotland I stopped at a Butchers in Wooler and got two large Fillet Steaks for Claire and I to have on New Years Eve. I have mastered the technique of making a great steak thanks to a Google search. Bring the steaks out of the fridge an hour before cooking and let them rest at room temperature. Then heat the pan until it`s piping hot and put the steaks on for 3-4 mins a side depending on preference. The steaks were lovely and the red wine also flowed. Claire and I then went to the local pub and got a lock in. Kath had Mia overnight so when we eventually went to bed at 3am we knew we could have a long lie.
Happy New Year everyone, may your lumb always reek!!!
