One of my best friends Neil, his wife Sandra, son Lewis and daughter Grace came down for the day last weekend from Scotland. Neil put a word in for me at Siemens when I first moved down so I owe my life in the North East to him.
It was the first time I had seen Grace in the flesh and it was the first time Neil and Sandra had seen Mia. Grace is a little angel and Lewis is a fun loving wee boy, I even got the Scalextric down from the attic for him......and me.
We had a nice lunch in Tynemouth and went for a walk along the sea front watching the surfers as we went.
We are now planning a family holiday in Tenerife in January, I can`t wait.
