Thursday before Easter.
Played football tonight and lost to the 2nd in the League 4-3 our team name is Anglo Utd, http://www.horizonsoftware.net/jjb/110251004105jbns671l00129.htm. Afterwards 7 of us hit Newcastle for a night out . It is the Easter Weekend so a lot of people finish work tonight for the long weekend. Newcastle was almost as busy as a Saturday and there were queues for the pubs on the Quayside.
We started in bar 42 and had a couple of treble vodkas before heading down to a little wine bar on the corner of Grey Street where we sampled their Belgian beer that was served in a goldfish bowl like glass. After a quick one in the Aikenside we went to Chase, http://www.ultimateleisure.com/Chase/newcastle/index.html, where 4 of us shared two jugs of Vodka and Red Bull. It was 9.30pm.
We headed over to the Quilted Camel and had two Irn Bru Wickeds before heading to Jimmy`s for one drink.
I used my pass for Sea nightclub, http://www.ultimateleisure.com/Sea/, and got one other person in free, luckily some of the others picked up free entry fliers.
Had a brilliant time in Sea and the music was superb. My mate Dave and I headed to the casino at 1.45 and had a few games of blackjack. We got 11 twice and I doubled up twice, got a 3 the first time and a 4 the second time. Luckily we won our money back just as I received ring back from the taxi I had booked on the way up.
Got home and heated up some of my home made soup. Hit the sack at 4am.
