The Castle

Had a fantastic time at Barony Castle near Peebles. Our room was on the top floor and overlooked a waterfall with a mill wheel. At the bottom of the Castle drive there was a pub that would not be out of place in a big city, it was beautiful inside. We especially enjoyed the no smoking rule that is now being governed in Scotland, it has not been implemented down South yet. The pub seemingly used to be a sawdust on the floor establishment but it could not be more different now. You could have eaten your dinner in the toilets they were so clean. Had fun on the assault course in the grounds of the hotel and have video of me falling off a rope much to Claires amusement.

Ventured into Peebles for a meal in Frankos Italian restaurant and the food was brilliant, I had steak again.
