Well here goes, I only discovered Blogs a couple of weeks ago and have just plucked up the courage to put a few thoughts down. I`ve had fun reading other blogs and realise that I can`t compete with the standards set but I`m going to have fun trying.

Watched Sideways the movie today, it was much hyped and got an oscar. I must be missing something, it was rubbish.

Been looking for a hotel in Scotland or England for two nights at the end of March for a Romantic break. Searched various websites and the average price for two nights for a decent hotel with a leisure facility was £220. Been on the lookout for a week and I was about to give up when I found a, wait for it........Castle, in Scotland for £119. Could not believe my luck, that`s £119 for two adults for 2 nights bed and breakfast. I booked it before they could change their mind. The website was Laterooms.co.uk.

Hopefully my next entry will be more interesting.
